Privacy
Useful information, kept only as long as it is needed.
This notice explains the information used to answer enquiries, operate reservations, receive payments and run the motel. It should be read with the booking terms and any collection notice shown at the point of entry.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, Marley’s Place may collect your name, contact details, stay dates, guest numbers, room selection, arrival information, accessibility or practical requests, booking history, correspondence, payment status and limited website-event data. Please do not place medical records, identity documents or payment-card numbers in free-text fields.
Why we use it
Information is used to quote and fulfil a reservation, communicate before and during a stay, take and reconcile payments, prevent double-booking, support safety and accessibility requests, maintain accounting and audit records, improve the direct-booking experience and meet legal obligations.
Payments and card data
Online card fields and connected EFTPOS transactions are handled by the configured PCI-compliant payment provider. Full card numbers and CVCs do not pass through or enter Marley’s Place’s application database. The operations system stores only provider references and limited card metadata such as brand, last four digits and expiry. If you consent to a card-on-file token for the stay, it is used only for the agreed stay guarantee, authorised incidentals or an approved outstanding balance and is detached after checkout under the configured retention rule.
Who can access or receive information
Authorised Marley’s Place staff receive role-based access to the operations system. Service providers may process data for website hosting, database storage, payments, email delivery, security and support. Transport, maps and social links you open separately operate under their own privacy practices.
Security and retention
Controls include sign-in-gated staff areas, server-side role checks, a separate Payment action PIN, provider-hosted card entry, rate limiting, security headers and an audit trail for sensitive actions. Booking, financial and operational records are retained for business and legal needs; information that is no longer required should be deleted or de-identified. Tokenised payment methods follow the shorter stay-based retention rule described above.
Your choices and rights
You can decline optional marketing, ask for access or correction, raise a privacy concern or ask whether information can be deleted. Some reservation and financial records may need to be retained by law or for a current dispute.
